Mike Pence announces his candidacy for the 2024 US presidential election

Republican Mike Pence has officially announced his participation in the US presidential election, which will be held in November 2024. Pence previously served as Vice President in the Donald Trump administration.

“It would be easy to stay away. But that’s not how I was raised. That is why today I announce before God and my family that I am running for President of the United States,” Pence said.

According to him, the United States today needs “a leader who, as Lincoln (16th US President Abraham – ca. Russian media) said, will turn to the best angels of our nature”. “We can rebuild this country,” Pence said.
