DA of employees will increase by four percent in MP, Chief Minister Shivraj announced

Bhopal. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has announced that the dearness allowance of state employees will be increased by four percent. With this, the dearness allowance of the state employees will be equal to that of the central employees.

Chief Minister Chouhan made the above announcement while addressing Chief Minister’s daughter marriage ceremony at Gillaur village in Bhairunda Tehsil of Sehore district. He said that at present there is a difference of four per cent dearness allowance between central and state government employees, now this difference will be removed.

Wife blessed 470 newly married brides and grooms

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that poor parents should no longer worry about the marriage of their daughters. His maternal uncle is getting the daughters married. Under the Mukhyamantri Kanya Vivah Yojana, mass marriages are organized by the government and checks worth Rs 49,000 each are given to the bride and groom to buy household items. This scheme was started in the year 2006, since then till date our government has got the marriages/nikahs of lakhs of poor daughters of the state done.

Chief Minister Chouhan was addressing the Mukhyamantri Kanya Vivah/Nikah Sammelan organized at Gillaur village under Bhairunda tehsil of Sehore district on Thursday evening. Chief Minister Chouhan along with his wife Sadhna Singh participated in the event. Giving blessings and best wishes to 470 couples getting married in the conference, he said, “Take blessings of maternal uncle, may you get a happy world”. He distributed checks of Rs 49 thousand each to the bride and groom.

The Chief Minister said that continuous work is being done for the welfare of sisters and daughters in the state. After Ladli Lakshmi and Mukhyamantri Kanya Vivah/Nikah Yojana, now Ladli Bahna Yojana has been started, in which sisters are given Rs.1000 per month. Now the minimum age limit in this scheme has been reduced to 21 years. The amount will be increased gradually in the scheme and up to Rs 3000 will be given to the sisters per month.

Daughters will be made millionaires through livelihood mission

He said that by including sisters in the livelihood mission, their income will be increased. Our target is that every sister should earn at least Rs 10,000 a month. May every sister of mine be a millionaire. We don’t have to let the sisters remain helpless, we have to make them strong. No one will live in poverty in the state, the government is with you, maternal uncle is with you.

Marriage is a sacrament, a sacred bond, living together

While blessing the newly married couples, Chief Minister Chouhan said that marriage is a holy sacrament, a holy bond. Stay together with each other. The trust between husband and wife should not be broken. By marriage two bodies become one soul. Illuminate the name of both the families. Live happily and peacefully.

The marriage ceremony was performed according to all the rules and regulations. 430 marriages and 40 nikahs were solemnized in the conference. Public Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr. Prabhuram Chowdhary, MP Ramakant Bhargava, MLA Karan Singh etc were present in the event.
