According to Lisin, in order to participate in the Pan-Arab Games, organized by the Union of National Olympic Committees (NOC) of Arab countries and from July 5 in Algeria, several Russian athletes have changed their names, and two their dates of birth. .
Competitor lists include:
badminton player Daria Dzhedzhula – Dasha Dhedhula, cyclists Daria and Tatiana Malkov – Darie Malko and Tatia Malko, swimmer Anastasia Sorokina – Enas Sorkine, track and field athlete Karina Poludkina – Karina Polud.
In addition, in the profiles of two athletes on the official website of the Pan Arab Games, the dates of birth have been changed:
Daria Malkova – from November 16, 2000 to July 5, 2001, Daria Dzhedzhula – from November 19, 1995 to November 19, 1999.
Additionally, gymnast Alexandra Maksimova and judoka Milana Mugu, who is listed on the competition website as Milana Mrad, are announced as participants in the Pan Arab Games. Both, judging by the profiles on the websites of the International Gymnastics Federation and the International Judo Federation, are associated with the Syrian national team. According to him, the Pan Arab Games are such an international tournament where it is unacceptable “to ignore the rules for changing nationality specified by the international federations”.
