Kelly Clarkson’s home decor brand is selling bird ornaments while her public dispute with a Brooklyn shop over a mechanical bird continues.

Wayfair lists Kelly Clarkson Home ornaments, including a brushed metal bird set of six, each 3.5 inches, with sculpted birds and subtle vine detailing. Wayfair’s Canadian site also lists an iron bird hanging ornament set of six in a champagne finish. Rolling Stone framed the listings as a commercial follow-up to the controversy.

The ornaments are decorative pieces, not mechanical birds. Neither the retailer’s listings nor Rolling Stone’s headline establish that Clarkson created or timed them in response to the dispute.

The Art of Play dispute began October 10, when the Grammy-winning singer said staff looked at her as if she could not afford a $15,000 mechanical bird named Molly. The store replied that Molly is permanently attached to the wall and is not for sale. It said a near-identical automaton owned by its creator could be bought for $15,000, and that staff also offered to show her a roughly $2,000 alternative made in Germany.

Clarkson answered that the bird had a price tag nearby and told the store: “So you’re not only rude, you’re also a liar.” NBC News reported the store’s account after its Instagram statement.

Silent security footage later released by podcaster Pablo Torre shows Clarkson browsing, noticing Molly and speaking with an employee, though it does not capture the conversation. Co-owner Adam Rubin told Curbed that threats and harassment followed Clarkson’s posts, saying she “put us in danger.” Clarkson has not asked fans to target the shop, according to Us Weekly.

Rubin has since raised Molly’s price to $15 million. The dispute remains one of the week’s most-discussed stories in entertainment news.
