Golden State had a 16-point lead, lost it, and then needed Stephen Curry to take the game back. He did, and the Warriors kept their winning streak alive.

Curry finished with 41 points, six rebounds and six assists as the Warriors beat the Orlando Magic 126-119 in overtime on Saturday night at Chase Center, according to Warriors.com. It was Golden State’s seventh straight win. The Warriors started fast, building a 57-41 halftime lead, but NBC Sports Bay Area reported that the 16-point advantage faded. ESPN’s box score shows Orlando outscored the Warriors 37-20 in the third quarter.

In overtime, Field Level Media reported, Curry’s three-point play with 1:38 left put Golden State in front for good, and his driving hoop 44 seconds later gave him a 41-point night. The Warriors outscored the Magic 16-9 in the extra period, according to ESPN. Field Level Media described Orlando as short-handed. The Magic fell to 2-7, ESPN reported.

Some outlets, including Warriors.com and Sports Illustrated, give the score as 124-119 in their text. ESPN’s quarter-by-quarter scoring adds up to 126-119, as do the NBA.com game page and the other reports reviewed.

The sources reviewed for this report do not fully explain how Orlando forced overtime, who else starred for either team, or which Magic players were unavailable, so those details are not included here.
