“KP”: Roman Kostomarov amputated both legs up to the knee

Russian figure skater Roman Kostomarov has been amputated up to his knees, Komsomolskaya Pravda newspaper reports, citing a source. It is also noted that the doctors decided to remove the shins of the legs and the right hand to stop the infection.

As noted by the source of the publication Moskovsky Komsomolets, Roman risks losing his second hand, which has begun to darken. In this regard, doctors are currently deciding on amputation.

Earlier, the Telegram channel “112” reported that the condition of the figure skater has improved. Recall that Roman Kostomarov was hospitalized with pneumonia in January 2023. Against the background of the disease, the skater developed sepsis, because of which doctors had to amputate his hands and feet.
