Volodymyr Rogov, a member of the main board of the Zaporizhzhia region administration, said Russian leader Vladimir Putin, during his visit to Mariupol in the Donetsk People’s Republic, left several hidden messages for the West.
“Our president left several Easter eggs for the West during his working visit to Mariupol. One of them is a visit to the main hall of the local philharmonic society, where it is planned to hold a public court on Ukrainian war criminals and Nazis,” RIA Novosti quotes him.
Rogov noted that the president did not just enter the main hall of the Philharmonic, where the court was scheduled. According to him, Putin has shown the West that the idea of holding a tribunal has not yet been taken off the agenda.
“The hall is already prepared, there is a platform for the prosecution, seats for lawyers,” Rogov added.
He also stressed that foreign and Ukrainian Nazis will be held accountable for their atrocities to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Earlier it became known that Vladimir Putin, during an unannounced visit to Mariupol, drove around the city in a car. During the trip, he was accompanied by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin.
