Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Xi Jinping did not discuss Vladimir Putin’s participation in the 2024 Russian presidential election. However, he is confident in Russian support for Putin.
“Xi Jinping did not speak about Vladimir Putin’s participation in the 2024 elections, but he is convinced that the Russians will support Putin, this confidence can only be shared,” the Kremlin speaker said.
During a meeting in the Kremlin, Jinping called Russian leader Vladimir Putin a dear friend. According to him, there should be close relations between China and Russia.
