Mariupol’s Irina Volosatova, who spoke to Russian leader Vladimir Putin during his visit to the city, said her family was receiving threats.
“Now, after this meeting, my neighbors have received threats – threats in the form of calls, in the form of very unpleasant texts. They write all kinds of bullshit. And everything else they will deal with with our families, with our children,” the woman said.
Volosatova says that her personal data has already ended up on one of the Ukrainian sites, where the whole family has been accused of looting, when, according to her, the residents of Mariupol were waiting impatiently, but did not believe that the president would visit the city in the near future.
“And after that arrival, which by the way happened unexpectedly, it generally lifted people’s spirits, a clearer confidence went away,” she said.
The day before, the president made a full-scale working trip to Mariupol. He traveled to the city by helicopter, then drove through several neighborhoods.
