Informal talks between Putin and Xi Jinping in the Kremlin lasted 4.5 hours

The meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping ended in the Kremlin. Informal talks between the leaders of the two countries lasted more than four and a half hours.

Recall that today Xi Jinping arrived in Russia for a state visit. It should be noted that this is the first foreign visit of the leader of the PRC after his re-election to this post.

As Federation Council Deputy Chairman Konstantin Kosachev noted, Xi Jinping’s visit to Russia is being watched around the world, especially in the West. According to him, each meeting between the leaders of Russia and China “turns over” the theories that the Russian Federation has managed to isolate.

And Senator Vladimir Dzhabarov said the West was worried about the visit of China’s leader. They fear that attempts to isolate our country will turn into failure with good relations between Moscow and Beijing.
