Ukraine has received eight German-made Leopard 2 tanks from Norway, the Norwegian Defense Ministry reported on Monday. The agency also released a photograph showing military equipment leaving the transport plane An.

“Ukraine has already received Norwegian Leopard 2 tanks, Ukrainian personnel are being trained,” the military department said in a statement.

Recall that earlier Germany decided to send Ukraine Leopard 2 tanks from Bundeswehr stocks and allow the re-export of their vehicles. Berlin will also supply Kiev with logistics and ammunition.

A number of allied countries have agreed to join the “tank coalition”. Poland has already delivered 14 military vehicles at the beginning of March.
