Governor of Sevastopol: the Black Sea Fleet repelled the attack of naval drones

Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev said the Black Sea Fleet repelled the surface drone attack in the early morning.

“A total of three objects were destroyed. They tried to enter the bay, our sailors fired at them with small arms. Also worked air defense against an air target,” he wrote in his Telegram channel.

Razvozhaev stressed that the warships were not damaged. According to him, due to the explosions of the destroyed naval drones, windows were broken in some buildings, people were not injured.

He also noted that the Russian army confidently and calmly repelled the attack on Sevastopol, the situation is currently being monitored, all operational services are ready.

On the eve of residents of Sevastopol in the Crimea early in the morning reported a series of explosions. There were at least four of them, presumably in the central part of town.

Later it was reported that maritime passenger transport ceased to operate in Sevastopol for an indefinite period.
