Chinese President Xi Jinping’s plane takes off from Vnukovo to Moscow

Chinese President Xi Jinping ended his three-day visit to Russia on Wednesday morning by leaving Moscow. His plane took off from Vnukovo airport in the capital almost at 09:00 Moscow time.

Xi Jinping approached the plane and climbed the ladder to the sound of an orchestra. Before the plane, the Head of State was accompanied by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernychenko.

Before boarding the liner, the Chinese leader waved to mourners.

The President of the People’s Republic of China arrived in Russia on the afternoon of March 20. At the same time, he had an informal meeting with his Russian colleague Vladimir Putin. On Tuesday, March 21, official talks took place between the Kremlin heads of state. They lasted over 6 hours.

At the state dinner on the second major day of his visit to Russia, Xi Jinping expressed his belief that China and Russia have set an exemplary example of the two great powers’ relations.
