The peak of the spring flood has passed in Tatarstan

The head of the crisis management center of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergencies of the Russian Federation for Tatarstan, Lieutenant Colonel of the Internal Service Alexander Alexandrov, said that the peak of the spring flood had passed in the Republic.

As of March 28, according to data from the Hydrometeorological Center of the Republic of Tatarstan, a steady decline in water levels is observed on most of the small rivers of Tatarstan. The unfavorable situation persists on the Mesha, Izh, Vyatka rivers.

Five private households in the Vysokogorsky district, two sections of roads in the Arsk and Tyulyachinsk districts and a bridge in the Nurlat district of the republic remain flooded.

According to the specialist, the water should leave within the next three days.

A total of six low water bridges have been flooded since the start of the flood season. In addition, six sections of roads were flooded. In addition, 66 personal plots were under water.
