Rail Accident in Shahdol: Trains coming and going from Katni and Bilaspur were stopped, among the 4 injured, a loco pilot was also injured.
Shahdol. Rail Accident in Shahdol: Two goods trains collided on Wednesday morning at Singhpur railway station of Shahdol sub-division of South East Central Railway Bilaspur zone. A loco pilot has died and 4 people are injured in the incident. The injured include a loco pilot and the rest are other employees. Nine wagons along with the engine derailed after the signal overshoot of the coal loaded goods train.
The driver of the goods train has been injured in the incident and rail traffic has been disrupted. Nine wagons of the goods train have derailed. This incident happened around 7.15 in the morning. Railway officials told that the incident has happened but how the incident happened can be told only after investigation. There has been no loss of life but the incident is big which will be investigated. Right now traffic is disrupted due to which trains and goods trains coming from Katni and Bilaspur have been stopped. Rescue work is going on, traffic will be started soon.
