April 19, 2023

Velikoluchanin will go to a strict regime colony for a series of robberies. This was reported to “The Eastern Herald in Pskov” in the joint press service of regional courts.

The City Court considered a criminal case against a 24-year-old local resident. It was established that in February 2022 the young man was in the entrance of an apartment building on Gogol Street, where he secretly stole a cell phone worth 5,000 rubles from the victim.

Later, in April 2022, he, in a group of people, by prior agreement, stole alcoholic beverages in the amount of more than 2,000 rubles from a store on Zvereva Street. Some time later, in June 2022, he single-handedly stole a bicycle worth 3,000 rubles from the entrance to the house on Druzhby Street.

In sentencing as mitigating circumstances, the court considered a full admission of guilt, remorse for the act, active contribution to the disclosure and investigation of the crimes. The aggravating circumstance was the recidivism of the acts.

As a result, by court order, the Velikoluchanin will go to a strict regime colony for 1 year and 6 months, and also compensate damages in favor of one of the victims and pay him the cost of the stolen item.
