The regime of “silence” was established in nine specially protected natural areas of the Leningrad region due to the mass migration of birds. This was reported in the press service of the local Natural Resources Committee.

Until July 15, in the White Stone nature reserve in the Luzhsky district, visits to the Gladky Mokh swamp massif were limited; visit reed racks near Chernaya Lakhta village.

In addition, until July 15, restrictions on visiting certain areas are in force in the Kivipark nature reserves in the Vyborgsky district, Vyborgsky, Lake Melkovodnoe and Lakes Cancer. Until August 1, it will be impossible to walk along the islands and in the waters of the bay of the Beryozovye Ostrov reserve. In addition, on the territory of the protected area “Lammin-Suo Bog”, ten kilometers east of the village of Roshchino, visits to the swamp will be limited in the absence of snow.
