The head of the former Russian peasant farm “Svyatogorsha” Yuri Belov, who won one of the prizes in the regional “Family Farms” grant competition, shared where he would spend the money he won.
Belov plans to increase the number of his herd by adding 50 cows. The man also plans to repair the farm and modernize his workshop to be able to process 3.5 tonnes of milk per day.
Additionally, the farm plans to start producing kefir and yogurt. They also want to process the meat and eventually open their own shop. This was reported in the publication “Novgorodskiye Vedomosti”.
Recall that not so long ago four Novgorod farmers received a grant for the development of a family farm.
