In two years by 14%: how Russian pensions will evolve

April 22, 2023

Russian pensioners have been informed about the new increase in pensions, which will come after April.

In the near future, pensioners will see how the amount of their insurance pension changes. The last increase took place at the beginning of this year – pensions increased by more than 4% and, in general, by almost 15% for the year.

According to pension expert Sergei Vlasov, the Federal Ministry of Labor plans to carry out another indexation of insurance pensions in 2024. Its size will be 6.1%.

And a year later, in 2025, instead of the January indexation, the Russians expect two at once: in February and April.

During these two years, the amount of insurance pensions should increase by about 14%, on average, up to 25,000 rubles, writes PRIMPRESS .
