Hunters in the Leningrad region will receive 25,000 rubles for hunted wolves. This was announced by Andrey Gardashnikov, deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the region, on his official page on the VKontakte social network.
Residents of the Leningrad region began to complain more often about wolves. The number of predators in the forests of Leningrad has increased significantly, they began to come to settlements and attack domestic animals, which threatens people themselves.
The Committee for the Protection of Wildlife of the Leningrad region reacted positively to the initiative to shoot wolves and solved the problem. Thus, hunters will be able to get 25,000 rubles for one wolf. It is assumed that the award will be especially relevant for residents of remote settlements.
