Investigators of the IC of the Voronezh region verify the fact of a compression fracture of two adjacent vertebrae in a 6-year-old boy. This was reported by the department’s press service on Friday, April 21.
The incident during a physical education class in a kindergarten of the Sovietsky district of Voronezh occurred on March 13, 2023. During the class, the boy complained to the instructor about back pain . The teacher took him to the medical ward, where he was treated. The child stopped complaining of pain. Parents have been notified.
The municipality commented on the situation a few days later. The fact is that until March 16 the child continued to attend kindergarten as usual. The day the boy did not come to the garden, the doctors discovered that he had a broken vertebra.
Employees of the Investigative Committee opened a criminal case under the article “Provision of services that does not meet security requirements”. The incident is currently under investigation.
