Chairman of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Ignat: a division of the Patriot air defense system has already taken up combat duty in Ukraine

A division of the Patriot anti-aircraft missile system (SAM) is already in combat service in Ukraine. This was announced by the Chairman of the Air Force of the country of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Yuriy Ignat.

“I took a selfie as a souvenir… One of the divisions has already taken up combat duty and is working,” Ignat said.

According to him, previously promised deliveries of the same air defense systems are “on their way to their future positions”.

According to the Air Force Spokesman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Patriot air defense systems can use various missiles: against ballistics, aerodynamic targets and others.

Earlier, a user of the publication Baijiahao called the advantages of the Russian S-400 air defense system over the American Patriot air defense system.
