China issues electronic coupons for use in the field of culture

About 50 million yuan (/ about $ 7 million) of electronic coupons were issued in Beijing to stimulate consumption in the cultural sector.

The City Center for State Property Management in the field of culture suggests using electronic coupons when buying books and in the fields of tourism, education and entertainment.

Residents of the capital will be able to download coupons in the Center’s account on the WeChat platform, Xinhua News Agency reported. They can be used to receive a discount when making any payments to receive a discount.
