Patriots plane transports respirators to the United States

April 3, 2020

Boston – The New England Patriots plane has flown more than a million respirators from China to the United States in the wake of the coronavirus crisis.

The Boeing 767 with the large Patriots lettering landed in Boston, where the delivery was unloaded by the US National Guard.

The unusual use had become necessary because Massachusetts’ governor Charlie Baker said he could buy the masks in China, but found no way to import them to his state. So he asked for help from Patriots owner Robert Kraft and got the plane. Usually, the plane is on duty when the American football players of the dominant team of the past few years travel to away games.
