Pity Martinez leaves the United States to play in Saudi Arabia

Atlanta United, of Major League Soccer (MLS) of the United States, confirmed the transfer of Argentine midfielder Gonzalo “Pity” Martinez to Al Nassr, of Saudi Arabia, without revealing the amount of the operation.

The Vice President and Director Sportsman of the American institution, Carlos Bocanegra said goodbye to the wheel: “We want to thank” Pity “for his contributions to our club during the last two years”, spread Atlanta on his official account of the social network Twitter.

“Pity will always be part of the history of Atlanta United, after having played an important role during the 2019 season in which we raised two trophies,” said the manager.

The Mendoza-born player arrived at the Georgia State team on January 24, 2019, from River Plate and played a total of 54 games where he scored 11 goals.

The transfer of the 27-year-old player will also reward River economic benefits for training rights, and also to Huracán, where the midfielder made his professional debut on September 10, 2011.
