A Primorye resident is charged with a politically motivated crime.
A resident of the city of Artem imitated the firing of a grenade launcher on a commemorative plaque in honor of the centenary of Love Zemsky Sobor.
The prosecutor’s office of the Primorsky Territory informed that the lawyer Maxim Chikhunov called the installation of the painting in his TG channel “a spit in history”. Then the accused posted a video in which he jokingly shoots at a commemorative plaque, stating that he was holding a grenade launcher in his hands and threatening to destroy the object.
The prosecutor’s office approved the indictment.
– He is accused of committing a crime under Part 2 of Art. 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (hooliganism committed motivated by political hatred, committed with the use of an object used as a weapon), the department said.
The maximum prison term provided by the article is seven years.
