The accident with three fatalities on the Crimean bridge occurred due to the departure of a car into the oncoming lane. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Crimea, transmits CASS.
The department said the crash involving three cars happened on the bridge around 7:35 a.m. As a result of the accident, three people died and one was injured.
According to preliminary information, the driver of a VAZ-2112, born in 1996, from Crimea entered the oncoming lane, where he collided with an oncoming Hyundai Starex. The Interior Ministry noted that the Hyundai was driven by a driver born in 1970. “After that, a VAZ-2106 car collided with them,” the Interior Ministry said in a statement.
The department noted that the driver and two passengers of the VAZ-2112, a 24-year-old girl and a 32-year-old man, died. The driver of the Hyundai Starex was hospitalized, the driver and passengers of the VAZ-2106 were not injured.
To the Crimean Ministry of Health said TASS that the victim was taken to the city hospital of Kerch No. Pirogov, his condition is described as serious.
