Poland intends to completely limit the possibility of crossing the border with Belarus. This was stated by Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic Pavel Yablonsky.
“If there is such a need, especially motivated by security issues, then we are definitely ready. But we will analyze this as events develop,” RIA Novosti quotes the speaker.
According to Yablonsky, the decision is by no means entirely based on political factors. The border will be completely closed in the event of a threat to the security of the republic.
Earlier, Poland announced the closure of the Bobrovniki checkpoint. Later, trucks were no longer allowed to pass through the Kukuryki-Kozlovichi checkpoint. Currently, the only Brest-Terespol passenger point is operating.
