During the war years, Anna Kasataya worked as a teacher
On February 22, Anna Andreevna Kasataya, a veteran of the Great Patriotic War, a worker on the home front, celebrates her 100th birthday. Governor Igor Rudenya congratulated Anna Andreevna on her birthday.
“I wish you good health and all the best. I want to thank you for what you have done for us. I also know that you have a large family – seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. May your family be strong and organize as many good family events as possible, ”said Igor Rudenya.
As a schoolgirl, Anna Andreevna began to help teachers with lessons, and after the start of the Great Patriotic War she remained to work in elementary classes. She combined her educational activity with volunteering – she raised funds for military needs. After the war, she took courses and worked as an accountant.
Anna Andreevna received medals “For valiant work in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945”, “Veterinarian of Labor”, as well as commemorative medals.
