A three-month-old boy was taken to Vidnovskaya Hospital in critical condition. Doctors said the child went into anaphylactic shock after an injection of numbing medicine during a home circumcision
The procedure for the baby was done by the family’s personal physician, not only for religious reasons, but also for medical reasons. After administration of lidocaine, the boy lost consciousness and went into anaphylactic shock.
The child was taken to hospital in critical condition. He would have been in intensive care for several days. Later, the boy was transferred to Lyubertsy Hospital for further observation, writes MK.
