Refugee left her husband in Ukraine and moved to UK minister Shapps

February 25, 2023, 07:36 – Public Information Service – TEH – British Minister Grant Shapps hosted Ukrainian refugee Snezhana Chaykina, her mother, her seven-year-old son Nikita and their dog at home. The Ukrainian husband stayed at home, reports Sky News.
Shapps himself also lives with his wife. According to him, they all live happily together. Last April, refugees occupied the bedroom of Shapps’ eldest son.

“We told him that we had given his room to three Ukrainians and a dog!”, explained the politician.
Shapps added that along with the refugees, he takes care of all the household chores. They even co-load the dishwasher. He called this living together “extended family”.
Previously, in Poland, they started counting Ukrainian men for possible deportation to their homeland. As is known, there is a shortage of fighters in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The Polish government has started counting Ukrainians who have moved since the start of the special operation.
