The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change reviewed its national and regional projects aimed at achieving radiological and nuclear security, as well as the efforts of the State of Qatar to support the peaceful uses of nuclear science and technology in cooperation with various state agencies, in the fields of agriculture, radiological emergencies and food safety. This came during the meeting of Mr. Abdulhadi Al-Marri, Assistant Undersecretary for Environmental Affairs at the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, today, with Ms. Linda Eid, the administrative officer for technical cooperation programs for the State of Qatar at the International Atomic Energy Agency. The meeting also reviewed the 7 national projects that are being worked on, in addition to 3 national projects for the next session 2024-2025, in addition to the progress made in the cooperative agreement of Arab countries in Asia for scientific research, development and training related to nuclear science and technology.
