Russian women called underwear the worst possible gift for March 8, according to the results of a survey conducted by Rabota.ru and YuMoney services.
The lingerie option is considered the worst by 60% of women surveyed.
36% of Russian women would not like to receive clothes and shoes as a gift on March 8. 35% would not like to see bath and shower sets as gifts.
27% would be unhappy if they received alcohol as a gift and 23% do not want discount coupons in stores.
The most popular gifts are candies and sweets (49% of Russians surveyed), 46% would like to receive flowers and 41% would like to receive certificates for shopping.
