In the district of Pechenga, on Saturday March 4, the annual training camp of Red Machine is held. For the fifth time, a real hockey festival took place in Zapolyarny.
The festival brought together young athletes from across the region. A total of 80 students from hockey sections of different localities of the Kola Peninsula gathered here: Zapolyarny, Nikel and Sputnik. Such events are popular and regularly held in the city.
“The development of sport in the district is one of the priority tasks set for the Pechenga district administration,” district head Andrey Kuznetsov said in his official telegraph channel.
The collection also gives northerners the opportunity to get acquainted with world-class sports stars. Among them was Evgeny Artyukhin, a Russian hockey player.
Earlier, “MK in Murmansk” said that the governor of the Murmansk region Andrey Chibis met with representatives of the Pechenga district administration.
