The Hyundai plant in St. Petersburg has completed the reorganization of personnel

March 4, 2023

The St. Petersburg Hyundai plant has completed the reorganization of personnel. This was reported to “Interfax” by the head of the city labor and employment committee Dmitry Cherneiko.

“The reorganization measures at Hyundai have been completed,” he answered when asked about the future fate of the team. The head of the department did not disclose further details.

The plant shut down the conveyors in March 2022 due to component supply difficulties. More than two thousand employees of the company found themselves idle. In December of the same year, layoffs began at the factory: workers were fired with severance pay.

Earlier, MK in St. Petersburg wrote that the sale of the Hyundai plant to a Kazakh company was being discussed in Smolny.
