The Ministry of Emergencies warns of worsening weather conditions in the Arctic. The thermometer will drop to -27 degrees Celsius.

On Sunday, March 5, the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Murmansk region reported on the expected severe frosts in the region.

So, on the night of March 6, the temperature in the Murmansk region will drop to -27 degrees Celsius, rescuers warn with reference to the Murmansk UGMS.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations recommends dressing warmly when going out in such severe frost, favoring multi-layered clothing. It is better to keep the time spent outside heated rooms to a minimum and not go out into nature at all.

In addition, northerners are advised not to overload the power grid, not to use faulty electrical appliances. When handling gas and stove heating equipment, exercise the utmost caution.

We will remind, earlier “MK in Murmansk” said that in Monchegorsk an increase in the content of harmful substances in the air is expected due to weather events.
