The people of Belaya Kalitva were frightened by a loud roar. This was recounted by city residents on March 5 on social media.
According to local residents, on February 5, a loud “pop” sounded in the sky. The roar was heard by people in several regions: in Kamensk, Zverevo, in Zarechny, in Tatsinskaya, in Koksovoye, in the Dynamo region, in the Lower Village, in Gornyatsk and many others. In many homes, people’s windows rattled and alarms went off in cars.
“Throughout the Rostov region, the sound was as if it had exploded right above our heads, I very much doubt that it could be a supersonic plane,” the residents of the city report.
There is no information from official sources about this yet. Some suggest that the air defense system was operating nearby.
However, city dwellers should not worry in advance. Most likely, the sound came from an airplane flying overhead.
