The Tula Railway Station District Judicial District jailed a local resident for five months for stealing parts of brake equipment from a freight car.
The court found that the defendant stole an automatic governor and brake rod from a freight car. Their total cost was 4492 rubles. The defendant fled with the property and disposed of it as he pleased – he handed it over to the ferrous metal collection point. Subsequently, the citizen fully compensated the victim for material damage.
The man had previously been convicted of a particularly serious crime. The court found him guilty and sentenced him to five months in a strict regime colony. The verdict has not become effective and may be appealed in the manner prescribed by law.
