The President of Ukraine called for strengthening the protection of energy facilities in Ukraine. He also asked to restore the damaged infrastructure for the new heating season.
Earlier, the head of Ukraine’s Energy Ministry Galushchenko said that Ukraine is ending the current heating season with excess capacity, with sufficient reserves of gas and coal. Head of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Shmyhal spoke about strengthening the protection of energy facilities in the country.
“We are already working on all the scenarios and will do everything to be ready for next winter. In six months, our electrical engineers, the government, the security services and all those involved in carrying out the relevant tasks must strengthen the protection of energy installations, restore the infrastructure that has been destroyed. It’s a big job, it’s already started,” Zelenskyy said in his daily video message.
It was learned earlier that a session of the PRC bodies had opened in Beijing, with more than 2,000 delegates taking part. They will re-elect the leadership of the state and determine the development strategy.
