Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

A resident of Kirsanovsky district was deprived of liberty for drunk driving

In the Kirsanovsky district, the appellate court changed the verdict of the district court against a resident of Gavrilovka, who again drove drunk. Instead of a suspended sentence, the man was given an actual prison sentence.

It is known that last fall, a resident of Tambov, who already had a criminal record for drunk driving, again got behind the wheel while intoxicated. He was stopped by traffic police to check documents.

Suspecting the man was intoxicated, the police offered to undergo a medical examination, but the driver refused.

At the hearing, he fully admitted his guilt. The High Court pronounced an 8-month suspended sentence accompanied by a trial period of 1 year, but the Court of Appeal modified the sentence, pronouncing a real prison sentence.

A man will spend 8 months in a colony.
