The official sincerely congratulated the residents of Tomsk on International Women’s Day.
Vasily Potemkin, deputy governor of the Tomsk region for investment policy and real estate relations, explained on his Telegram channel how his attitude towards International Women’s Day has changed.
According to the official, during his school and student years, he was not very fond of March 8 because of its formality. But over the years, Potemkin changed his mind.
“I’m sure it’s worth treating it not as a ‘woman’s day’ once a year, but as a standard to treat a woman throughout her life. Therefore, I want to wish you health, warmth, love and care, which you should always be surrounded by,” said the deputy head of the region.
Well, today, March 8, according to Potemkin, you just need to remember all the women who surrounded you with love and care.
