Zakharova also expressed confidence that the imposition of sanctions by Belgrade would not reduce pressure on Serbia from the United States, but would only increase it.
Earlier, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said that by refusing to join European sanctions against Russia, his country was left without allies in the West. At the same time, he stressed that Serbia will try to survive without imposing sanctions on Russia for as long as possible.
