Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho said he will be out for upcoming matches at a crucial period of the season after injuring his ankle during his team’s 0-0 draw with Southampton in the Premier League this weekend. United coach Eric Ten Hag on replacing his player who came on as a substitute in the match. Garnacho left Old Trafford later on crutches. The 18-year-old winger was preparing to make his Argentina debut after a stellar season in which he scored four goals and made the same in all competitions, but he will now have to wait to wear the shirt of the World Cup-winning team. He wrote on his Instagram account "It’s hard to describe what I’m feeling right now. Unfortunately, I will not be able to help my team and my team-mates in the upcoming matches at an important period of the season for Manchester United."I am also disappointed that I will miss out on playing with my team-mates in the Argentina national team, which would have been a great and proud moment for me and my family."It’s part of football and our professionalism and I’m ready for my recovery".
