American tech entrepreneur and tycoon Steve Kirsch is under fire after reporting on Twitter that he offered a woman who was with him on a flight worth more than 14 million ISK to remove a face mask.

Kirsch’s Twitter post got a lot of attention and a heated discussion ensued on the thread. Many criticized his behavior.
“What a ram explanation. I bet that woman wished she had another seat,” one user said.
“You were harassing a woman who didn’t bother anyone, in a closed and small space where she couldn’t get away from you…Lovely,” said another.
He has also been called “disgusting” and an “arrogant fool”.

Kirsch said the woman removed the mask to eat, saying all protection was gone for the bee. But doctor Judy Melinek spoke up, saying the masks worked and he should have apologized to the woman.
