Oleg Orlov, member of the board of directors of the Memorial Society*, is suspected of having discredited the Russian armed forces.
“As for Orlov, a case has been opened under Article 1,280.3, an article about the repeated discrediting of the Russian military,” the organization’s Telegram channel said.
The day before, Orlov’s apartment had been raided in connection with an article on rehabilitation from Nazism.
In addition, other employees of “Memorial” * were also investigated, as a result of which some of them were arrested.
