Islamic and Arab countries, and countries that witness the presence of Muslim communities, welcomed the first night of Ramadan with welcome and joy in the streets, squares and mosques, as the streets were decorated with lights, crescents and lanterns, after most Arab countries announced that the first day of Ramadan 2023 will be today, Thursday.
With the advent of the month of Ramadan, which Muslims around the world receive, preparations vary between psychological, spiritual and material, and even in terms of food and exercise, and Muslims try to seize this month with its numbered days, so receiving the month of Ramadan is considered one of the important steps that many prepare for.
The worshipers performed Tarawih prayers on the night of the first day of Ramadan, in a high spiritual atmosphere that witnessed the presence of men, women and children in scenes of joy and happiness with the advent of the blessed month of Ramadan.
The worshipers also performed the evening prayer and the first Tarawih prayer at the Grand Mosque on the first nights of Ramadan this year.
