On the sidelines of the congress, in particular, the representatives of the free economic zone “Gomel-Raton” and the Russian partners of the high-tech industrial zone of the Pskov region “Moglino” have already signed a memorandum of cooperation.
Pskov colleagues signed a cooperation agreement with the FEZ administration “Mogilev”, on whose territory there are more than four dozen resident enterprises.
In addition, aspects of the partnership were discussed and fixed by the Belarusian unitary enterprise “Agency for Investment Development and Promotion” and “Technopark” from St. Petersburg.
The director of the agency Andrei Bobovich explained to journalists that the document provides for the participation of residents of the Gomel technopark “Coral” in the programs taking place in the city technopark on the Neva. By becoming equal partners in organizing competitions, he stressed, “our residents will have access to funding from the Leningrad region and St. Petersburg.”
In addition, according to him, Belarusian companies can occupy the niche of foreign companies that have left the Russian market, especially in the field of microelectronics and computers. “Children’s technopark should also take part in the programs organized under the auspices of the St. Petersburg Technopark,” Bobovich added.
Economic observers specify that the theme of the next congress in Gomel is devoted to the development of free economic zones, industrial and scientific and technological parks as engines of territorial development. More than 250 people have confirmed their participation this year. Among them are representatives of the Free Zone and science and technology parks of the Union State and Uzbekistan, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Belarus and regional leaders.
