Residents of Smolensk can participate in the All-Russian photo contest “Trees – monuments of wildlife”.
The photo competition is organized within the framework of the All-Russian program “Trees – Monuments of Fauna”.
The purpose of the photo contest is to capture the primordial beauty of trees – natural monuments, to provide them with the necessary care and safety for future generations, to increase interest in unique ancient trees that are part of the natural heritage of the Russia and represent a natural, historical and cultural value for our country, in order to promote the development of domestic tourism in the Russian Federation, drawing attention to the regions as a place of growth of historical trees.
To evaluate the photographs submitted to the competition, a program committee and a qualified jury were created, which included representatives of executive and legislative authorities, scientists – foresters and ecologists, famous photographers and artists, representatives of the public and the media .
Prize fund:
1 prize – 100,000 rubles (one hundred thousand rubles)
2nd prize – 60,000 rubles (sixty thousand rubles)
3rd prize – 30,000 rubles (thirty thousand rubles)
To participate in the competition, you need to go to the site of the program “Trees – Monuments of Fauna” (www.rosdrevo.ru) in the section “Photo competition” and go to the page for uploading photos by clicking on “PARTICIPATE ” button.
Only photographs of trees that are included in the State Register of Ancient Trees of Russia and approved in the list published on the program website are accepted for participation.
Competition dates: from March 01, 2023 to October 01, 2023.
Publication of the results of the photo contest – November 01, 2023 on the program website (www.rosdrevo.ru).
The best works, according to the jury, will be published in the gift photo album “Unique Trees of Russia” Volume 2.
