March 27, 2023

Representatives of right-wing Israeli political forces plan to stage counter-protests. According to the publication of Jerusalem the police are preparing for the fact that if protesters collide, violence will be used.

The action by far-right activists is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. local time on March 27. The protest will take place outside the High Court building in response to protests against the reform of the judicial system which are taking place outside the Knesset.

An announcement about the action appeared on social networks. He says that citizens must resist those who want to deprive the people of the right to choose.

National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir wrote: “Today we break our silence. Today is the day when the right will wake up. Spread.”

Earlier, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was approached by 17 senior rabbis with a demand not to freeze judicial reform amid “inconceivable attempts” by a minority to impose its will through violence.
