Peskov said relations between Moscow and Berlin leave a lot to be desired

October 3, 2025

Russian President’s Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov said that relations between the Russian Federation and Germany left much to be desired. The official representative of the Kremlin added that the supply of German weapons to Ukraine does not bode well.

“In general, these relationships leave a lot to be desired. Germany is actively involved in sending arms to Ukraine. Germany is constantly, directly and indirectly, increasing the level of its involvement in this conflict, so such actions and decisions do not bode well,” Peskov told reporters.

Earlier, Germany announced that it is ready to build a tank production plant in Ukraine. Its cost is estimated at $200 million.
